4. William Joseph Mosconi

William Joseph Mosconi is the fourth on our list of the united states, famous pool players. For fifteen years, he was the World Straight Pool Champion.

He has been called “Mr. Pocket Billiards ” for his unique trick shots,” which he earned thanks to them. When you think of pool in North America, his name is almost as well-known. Besides, he helped make swimming a national sport.

Mosconi is the most outstanding player on the planet who has made a run of five-hundred-and-twenty-six balls. He holds the record for 526 runs.

7. Rudolf Walter Wanderone

Minnesota Fats, better known as “Rudolf Walter Wanderone,” was an American professional pool player who rose to prominence in the United States. He became well-known not just for his pool skills but also for his capacity to entertain audiences in other ways.

Minnesota Fats currently occupies fourth place on our list of the greatest billiards players. He began playing pool as a youngster and became a professional pool hustler. Minnesota Fats duped sailors at Norfolk during World War II and went on to stardom as a folk musician after the war.

In The Hustler, a 1961 movie about a professional racing cyclist, Rudolf was called “Minnesota Fats” by one of the characters.
